Just a have a question if anyone could help me.

I have contacted console and they are of no help in solving my question directly howver i know this can be done as other agents have this facility.



At end of month console generates a WBC file to upload and import into our trust account. When these funds are disbursed via the trust account the recipient does not get any message like ‘XYX Real Estate’ in the transaction line of their statement. They only get numbers? This makes our transfers hard to identify with creditors who receive a lot of end of month payments.



When our pay is generated it is done with MYOB and imported the same way through our general account, when I look at my bank statement transaction line it says ‘xyz Real Estate wages’. Apparently this transaction message is generated in MYOB. I can not figure out and nor can console guide me in figuring out how to make our transfers identified in the recipients account.



I hope this makes sense??



Please let me know if you know how to do this and make create a message for the WBC file??

Another agency we communicate with says that they have their agency's details on the recipients statement and they use console. How have they done this if not through console??

I would like to know how other console using agency's deal with this issue?

They may have this because their trust account and agency name are one and the same and/or their bank is in some way generating this, however at present it is not possible to change this file generated from Console. It is a product request.

You cant put individual references on EFTs ie.. the property address for every EFT.. this is something that really needs to happen as other software providers do offer this and landlords with multiple properties expect it..

You can however have a reference and not just numbers.. IE it can say -
'RSV Realty Owner Payment'

I am pretty sure this field in the EFT file is pulled from -
Console
Options
EFT
Transfer Type:

Just put in this 'transfer type tab' what ever description you want on the payment.. (I am pretty sure this is the field..)


To make it so we have individual references console needs to edit the EFT file to merge the field "Property Reference" instead of Transfer Type.. this would then allow every EFT to have the property reference on which would be great for owners with multiple properties..

I agree also that the EFT payment from console provided little details of where it came from and only the amount matched with the owners EOM statement enables owners with multiple units to determine what unit the money came from.

I have changed the Transfer type to GLENEFER so hopefully this provides the owners a link back to us. I assume this should work

Update: The update of Transfer Type to Glenefer worked.
On my bank statement I now get the following

DEPOSIT - INTERNET ONLINE BANKING 2162764 PAYMENT GLENEFER 01-FEB

Therefore for the owners they would at least see GLENEFER which is the complex name and maybe this helps them a little.
