Product support on the weekends?
Many Real Estate businesses are open on Saturday's and on Sunday's. If your business is open on the weekend do you think that your trust accounting product provider should also be available?
I have created a simple opinion poll to gauge the percentage of Real Estate offices who deem weekend support is fundamental to their business success. I would love to hear the reasons why you would call on assistance over the weekend. Is this the time that you use to catch up or even process your end of month?

Last weekend we had a situation whereby we needed to re-install and re-activate Console on our new server and pc's. Our IT professional was unable to complete the installation because he needed an activation code from Console. In this instance, weekend support would have been great!
On the other hand, our Property Management Department does not open on weekends, so we would rarely, if ever, use the support system. I do realise though that other agencies would use the service. It also could mean a potential increase in Console subscriptions and pricing as support staff employed to work weekends may be eligible for penalty rates. Regards Heather |

Thank you to everyone who participated and submitted their votes via the Forum Poll on product support on the weekends.
Over the past few months Console has been conducting a limited trial of Online Weekend Support via myConsole. The trial has been very successful and we have received great feedback from the trial participants, IT contractors to our clients and from the Console service team members. As a result, Console is please to now offer weekend online support, without increasing costs to our clients. On Saturday and Sunday between 8.30am-5.30pm, Console Clients can login to their myConsole account and create a new web case. The online case will be responded to by an Console Support Representative within 1 hour. The client will automatically receive an email alerting them that the case has been responded to. All Console clients can utilise the ‘log a web case’ feature a via myConsole at any time as an alternative to contacting us via the phone. MyConsole provides a number of self-help resources including comprehensive knowledge base articles and training materials (videos and pre-recorded webinars). To take advantage of this fantastic new service please login to myConsole, Saturday or Sunday during 8.30 - 5.30 your local time and log a web case. I would love to hear your feedback on your experience in the weeks to come.

This post is a reality check, It's nice we do most of our work when everyone is out doing a weekender hang around. maybe there should be product support on these days. nice post thanks
