Thank you for your suggestion of a wishlist category in the Forums; this is an interesting idea which we will take under consideration of how to best manage the format and structure of the Product Request submissions we will undoubtedly receive.

In the meantime, did you know that we have a feedback page on myConsole where you can put in an official request for any new features or customisations that you would like to see in Gateway Live. The number of requests we have for a given feature influence how soon it will be implemented into a future version of Gateway.

I do realise that there is a Feedback section in myConsole but just based on the number of votes for the features listed - it doesn't look like many people use that section. I think the forum is more likely to get some valuable input and it can only serve to improve Console in the long run.

I absolutely agree with you: an open forum Gateway Wishlist is a great idea and we are currently looking in to what would be the best way to implement this in the Forums.

I am pretty excited about the possibilities of this and can't wait to see it happen!

I think Console are too scared - the list might end up being very long and it would also highlight all of the things that Console doesn't have as standard.

How difficult can it be to start a new forum topic and let people post their thoughts - it's not - but I just got bored with waiting.

And if anyone suggests I submit a feature request again - I'll scream. What use is a feature request if the only place you can see it is in your own support case history.

Console - if you have a forum you should be prepared for some honest feedback and requests.

In the meantime - why don't you just post your wishlist here.

When linking a payment to a maintenance file, it would be good if the creditor and bank/eft details appeared automatically instead of having to enter them. The info is already in the database so it should be pre-filled instead of us having to look up the details separately.

I would like to see more ability to customise owner statements, maintenance orders etc.

I've used other programs that give far more options to customise statement layouts.

I absolutely hate how the line items are so close together and there's no clear separation between income and expenses.

I can't be the only one that would like to customise the statement layout.
And maintenance orders - why the heck can't we edit the title - I would prefer it to read Work Order and to have contractor or creditor instead of tradesperson. But I'm told this is not possible in Console right now - how frustrating....

The wish list section is now up and running and we have moved a few topics into this section already.

Feel free to start up your own with new ideas or even old ideas that you might have discussed with Console before.
