Good morning. I am new in the real estate industry. Could anyone tell me that if GST applies to outgoings recovered for commercial rental or not? (The lease does not mention it does or doesn't).

Yes GST is added to recoverable outgoings.

Hi Louie,

Dissections in Gateway are customizable and you have the ability to create as many as you want.

Another Gateway user in your office may have created the 'Commercial Outgoings' Dissection.

If you want to find out more information about it, go to the Dissections view (from the left navigation menu in the main Gateway screen) and then double click on the Dissection in the list. You will then be able to see what type the dissection is and whether it includes GST. If you no longer need the Dissection, you can choose to mark it inactive.
