Ipads
Could anyone that is using the IPADs for their entry reports, please give me some feedback on how it is going. We have a fairly large data base and are still having problems getting it downloaded onto Console. Is there any sight as to when this will be fixed and when we will be able to use.

Re: Ipads
I would be very interested to know the answer to this one as well. We are looking into purchasing an Ipad for this reason. One of the main things that appealed to me with console was the mobile inspection program but we have never been able to get this working with the previous programs. I was very much hoping that this new program would be smooth sailing.

Hi everyone, i have got live agent installed on my iphone and my ipad and have managed to perform condition reports without any problems, talk about making your job easier!!!
However, since the apple update last week to IOS 5 this application doesnt work at all currently. Condition reports are the ONLY function it performs at the moment so dont expect to be able to check calenders or anything else with it. But having said that, the condition reports are very easy to use. |

Re: Ipads
a very small one but can imagine how it would be with a large one. it colour codes and also only shows inspections due for the person logged in at the time - brilliant!!

Re: Ipads
Ahh technology changing I can never keep up. I finally bought a windows phone for the previous program only to be told by phone was to advanced ): So I am giving up and going an ipad and hope everything will work smoothly. I did also see that apple have there own routine inspection app so if all else fails I should be able to use that. I believe there is a huge benefit of doing inspections with a mobile program as long as it works smoothly or you find yourself spending time trying to figure out the program and your inspections take twice as long.

Re: Ipads
Console's Live Agent Inspect is working brilliantly. If your having a few tech set up issues just give tech support a call. A lot of my clients have been using it for some time and it has revolutionised the effiency of this time consuming aspect in Property Management.
While we are on the subject of Ipad please check out my top 5 Apps for Real Estate by going to www.tiffanybowtell.com.au. Thanks Tiffany Bowtell |

Re: Ipads
Running iPad here, and have had no issue getting the inspections done on the Pad, BUT have big issues being able to print the reports off with right details and photos attached.
Cannot seem to find the photos I took onsite, the report is not showing an address on the actual page, and the cover page is not lined up for printing window faced. Needs alot of tweeking, but can see its potential. |

Re: Ipads
Hi guys,
I've been delivering IPad training in Perth for the past two weeks (returned home to QLD yesterday) and I'm just putting some finishing touches on a document that explains all! I'll post it here in the next few days

Re: Ipads
We are currently using our Ipad with this system and it is working fantastically, cutting out so much time. The only thing is if you have a large rent roll your server needs to have alot of space to download the routine inspections when you get back to the office. You also need to go into the entry reports and make them bigger ie, rumpus, bedroom 5, formal dining & lounge etc.
Liveagent was down on our system for the last couple of weeks until I uploaded to the new service pack 6. |
